Who We Are
NHS Lothian is one of the fourteen regions of NHS Scotland and provides a comprehensive range of primary, community-based and acute hospital services for the second largest residential population in Scotland - approximately 800,000 people across Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian and West Lothian. We employ over 25,000 staff.
We want the right people to deliver the right care
We have an array of excellent clinical and non-clinical services who together provide a complex system of high quality patient care across many geographical and service areas including many specialist regional and national units of care.
We believe that to provide a high quality of care to our patients we must provide a high quality of education and development to give our staff the skills and knowledge required. We invest for a better future of healthcare and we believe its important to invest in our staff and their careers too.
We are committed to the contribution and workforce development that young people bring to our organisation. We are keen to attract young people who are interested in a career in healthcare in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical settings.
Our goal is to see the highest quality healthcare delivered to the people living in the Lothians and beyond who use our services. We aim to work together with all of our partners including our patients, carers and the public towards a shared goal of world leading healthcare in Scotland.
We need caring, compassionate people to help us in our goal who want to be part of our vision and share Our Values.
Are you ready to begin your career? We have challenging and rewarding career opportunities for the right people who can bring commitment, drive and a passion to be part of our organisation.
If you want to be part of our commitment to deliver quality care and you feel enthusiastic and passionate about joining us we want to hear from you.
